Our Story

About Grand Tour Advisors

A quarter-century of crafting Europe’s most extraordinary private journeys.

Our Philosophy

Travel as Transformation

Grand Tour Advisors was founded on a single conviction: that travel, approached with intention and expertise, is one of life’s most transformative experiences. We trace our inspiration to the original Grand Tour — the 17th- and 18th-century tradition by which Europe’s young aristocrats completed their education through prolonged immersion in the continent’s great cities, courts, and cultural institutions.

That tradition belongs to everyone who is serious about Europe. We revive it — privately, elegantly, and without compromise — for the modern discerning traveller.

Our advisors are not travel agents. They are connoisseurs: historians, linguists, gastronomes, and art lovers who have spent careers building relationships across England, France, Germany, and beyond.

Our Principles

What Sets Us Apart

Principle I

Absolute Discretion

Your preferences, itinerary, and travel dates are held in strictest confidence. We never share client information, and we never discuss one client’s arrangements with another.

Principle II

No Generic Itineraries

Every journey begins with a conversation, not a brochure. We listen first, design second — and the result is a programme that could only ever belong to you.

Principle III

Depth Over Distance

We resist the temptation to cover a dozen countries in a fortnight. Richness comes from depth — from returning to the same village bistro three nights running, from knowing the curator personally.
